Lumetrix BV keeps personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, and then deletes or anonymises it. This page summarises our standard retention periods.
Retention Periods
- Account data (e-mail, profile, tier): while your account is active; deleted within 90 days after account closure.
- Device registrations: while active; removed on device removal or account closure.
- Library metadata, favourites, settings: while your account is active; deleted with the account.
- Subscription/purchase records: as required by Belgian accounting and tax law (up to 7–10 years).
- Connection and security logs: 90 days.
- Diagnostic and crash data: not applicable — diagnostics stay on the device.
- Analytics data (consented): not applicable — no server-side analytics.
- Support correspondence: 24 months after the case is closed.
- Consent records (cookies/marketing): up to 5 years as evidence of compliance.
Deletion
On account closure or a valid erasure request, we delete or anonymise personal data within the periods above, except where we must keep certain records to comply with a legal obligation, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
